What is the info space?

The info space is the ecosystem of founders, creators, and businesses that sell packaged knowledge as digital products. If someone built an audience with content and sells what they know, they're in it.

The five business models

Different products, same machine: build an audience with content, capture leads through funnels, and sell either through self-serve checkout or sales calls.

Who these businesses hire

The role stack maps onto the machine. Content gets made by video editors, clippers, content managers, and social media managers. Funnels get built and fed by funnel builders, copywriters, designers, and media buyers. Sales calls get booked by setters and closed by closers. Delivery runs on community managers, customer support, virtual assistants, project managers, and automation specialists.

Why the space needs its own talent

The model is specific enough that experience elsewhere doesn't transfer cleanly. A corporate video editor edits for polish; an info-space editor edits for retention and conversion. A brand copywriter writes for tone; a direct response copywriter writes to a revenue number. A Facebook page moderator and a paid-community manager have almost nothing in common. Hiring generalists into these roles means paying them to learn the model on your time.

That's also why generalist recruiters struggle here. They screen resumes; the info space runs on proof of work: close rates, retention curves, ad results, communities grown. MG Placements recruits exclusively inside this ecosystem, sourcing from the communities where these operators already work.
